PATTAYA: - A collision between two motorbikes in a narrow road in South Pattaya resulted in 5 people sustaining injuries with one of them described as seriously injured and unlikely to pull-through.

The crash occurred in Soi Khopai just before 3am on Saturday and was initially a collision between two motorbikes at a sharp curve in the road. The two bikes were driving at-speed and in the opposite direction.

The resulting collision led to the bikes falling onto the road and into the path of other bikes which led to further injuries.

Police determined that a bike driven by a 17 year old boy carrying two passengers was to blame for the crash as his vehicle crossed over to the opposing lane at the sharp curve in the road.
