Crystal Glass on the pickup. Is it a goer?

Featured Replies

Ive read a few positive reports on this forum -on getting crystal glass done. Where I live they quoted me 12k. Is this normal price?

Anyone had any bad experiences?

It's glass coating. In Thailand there is a company called Crystal Glass Coating. A lot of the products come from Japan. Crystal Process Company Ltd are a big supplier, I've bought stuff directly from them ... not sure that there is any connection between the two, even to CGC using CPC products.

The price depends upon what product is used, one or two coats and what maintenance is included. Be careful there are a lot of 'fly by night' companies and of course some reputable ones. I suggest that you watch a car being done by the company.

Mr IMHO might be along ... . The products themselves are not that expensive ... preparation is all important and so is the application.

CPC Ltd supply

Si-700

Eco

5000

8500

Here is an Idea of CGC prices http://www.crystalglasscoating.com/th/package.php

Sorry I haven't really answered your question as I don't know what is actually being offered. A brand new car will require less preparation that an older one.

Jas21 has pretty much covered it.

Whether or not 12,000 Baht is a good price, depends on how much preparation and correction work needs to be done on the paint first. The product itself not that expensive.
