Phu Nam Ron Visa Exempt Still Available?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,2 months ago my visa expired & I did this run and obtained a 30 day visa exempt ( im a uk citizen).after this expired I extended my stay for a further 30 days.

My question is will I be able to do the same again this month? cross the border & come straight back in to receive another 30 days?

many thanks for your help

I have not seen enough reports tor that crossing to know if you will be able to get another entry. At several other crossings you would be turned away.

It would be best to go out for a tourist visa.

ok Joe thanks very much,do you know if Savannakhet still do the same day tourist visa please? think I had better get another 2 entry tourist entry.Do they require financial proof?

Savannakhet no longer does same day service. It is back to next afternoon service. They don't ask for financial proof.

thanks Joe,I may consider going to Cambodia as my g/f has family there.Does anyone know if tourist visas are easily obtained in Cambodia please? many thanks

You will only get a single entry at the embassy in PP Cambodia and it can take up to 4 days unless you use an agent. There have been reports they are asking for a ticket out of the country now.

has anyone else done back to back visa on arrivals recently at phu nam ron please?

if so could you please let me know if you experienced any problems with it?

thanks in advance

Well , this info is a few months old:Two Filipinas did it with Quick visa run(they seem to be still going , although only in a van ,not the big bus anymore), and they were told that you can do it twice. this would be with an agency, always riskier on your own.
