I started working at a low class govt uni last june and originally signed a 1 yr contract. When they realized I was good they extended the contract to Oct this year (actually it might have been something to do with ASEAN). Thus my work permit expires in mid June this year along with my original 1 year ext of stay (originally it was a non immig b visa)

My question is with regards to the visa renewal. Will I have to leave the country again and get a new non immig B or what is the process?

Work have told me that they want me to continue for another year. Im unsure of the logistics of renewing the WP and visa.

When they renew the work permit it is my assumption that my contract will have to be extended to next year as well. Is this correct.

thanks for giving me the heads up on this

You can get another one year extension of stay you will not need to get a new visa.

The school will need to extend your work permit.

You will need to have your contracted extended.
