A liar on Fox News and this is a story? Have they ever watched the channel??

So you watch Fox News regularly? You must! How would you know they are lying? So is it safe to assume that EVERY other news agency, which is purely LEFT WING is lying as well?

Who actually owns this fox news channel?

Please share.

Fox News is owned by Rupert Murdoch along with Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. So one would assume that Fox would be left-wing anti-American, so why do ALL left-wingers HATE FOX?

The other hard truth is that the average age of Bill O's viewers are all over 65 years old. No where near the "money crowd" or what tv views as the desirable crowd.

Speaking of hard truths, More young people watch Fox News than any other cable news network. It works that way when you are number one.

Network news is FREE, so comparing apples and oranges to make a nonexistent point. rolleyes.gif

Not at all a nonexistent point as most Americans don't rely on broadcast TV.

The lefties want tit-for-tat since Brian Williams got taken down and O'Reilly is the candidate for scrutiny... I never have liked this ass clown anyway as he is rude and obnoxious as hell...

That's the important distinction. O'Reilly is a clown (something he knows full well and profits from) and his "reporting," like much of the content on Fox Noise, has more to do with entertaining their main demographic, cave dwellers & supporters of flat-earth-theories, than anything to do with actual news.

The O'Reilly Factor is not a news show, it's an opinion show. People from both the left and right express their opinion about pertinent news subjects.

Are you implying that when a left winger expresses his opinion on the O'Reilly Factor they are lying as well?

When you start accusing people of lying you have to be consistent.

I don't own a TV, so don't watch any news shows, including O'Reilly. But I find it laughable when people degrade him and Fox in general for their claims of being fair and balanced. Such people don't get the inherent satire in the claim: 99% of mainstream media is liberally biased, thus the "fair and balanced" slogan is meant in contrast to those other journalistic organisations: that Fox's existence on behalf of conservatives makes things more fair and balanced. Not that Fox is claiming to be non-partisan.

Magical! You don't own a tv, so you don't watch any news shows, including O'Reilly. Yet you have a fair opinion on what their shows and what the liberal media is doing? Independent, you say?giggle.gif

Some of the stuff coming out of MSNBC, CNN, NYT and others are just as farcical, but Fox takes it to a whole new level of stupidity and hypocrisy. coffee1.gif

Roger Ailes at FOX is on a mission. Promote republican candidates and tear away at any opposition.

It's a 24/7 Republican campaign channel. Unethical & immoral. The "journalists" on that show are sellouts.

The audience seem to be obsessive compulsive conservatives. They have FOX on the Brain all day long.

Promote the FOX programming like a Rush Limbaugh type show and I won't have any issues with Roger and the FOX hit pieces.

Just don't bamboozle the dumb demographic into thinking they are watching news. That's rotton.

Actually, you are the one who seems to have Fox News on the brain. While in the US, I didn't watch it. While in Thailand, I can't watch it. I don't quote it, cite it, or refer to it. You, on the other hand, seem locked onto the Fox screen so tightly, I don't know where you get the time to take care of bodily functions. Psychology has a name for this: reaction formation. Yes, underneath it all, YOU are a Fox viewer.

These type of left-wingers have most likely never watched a single minute of Fox News or any other opinion program on that network. They have been instructed by their superiors to trash Fox News because it might contradict the left-wing-progressive agenda. They do as they are told because they believe the world will be a better place when we are all communist or Islamic. They hate the western world because they have been instructed to do so. They even hate themselves for being westerners. Asia on the other hand is not buying into this whole global warming hoax and will continue to grow and prosper while we freeze relying on wind mills and solar panels after these idiots have successfully destroyed our energy infrastructure believing that they are saving the planet. Liberalism is a mental illness that can't be cured; they'll happily watch their own children freeze and starve believing they are saving the planet as well as all the fish and animals while they watch our society crumble.

I see the FOX programming a few times a year when I travel and stay in a hotel. I'll watch the fake wrestling too for a few minutes sometimes. I hold them both in the same regard. A waste of time.

And I have never watched MSNBC except for a few clips on the internet. Sensationalist, immoral, predictable jerks. I know what they are gonna say. I don't need to watch it.

Both programs are disgusting and any journalists that goes with them is a sellout, a fraud sucking up to management for a pay check.

Especially bizarre are the FOX viewers that go public and are not ashamed to admit the watch FOX. They actually go on tirades against MSNBC. MSNBC is just a FOX copycat targeting the idiots on the other side.

Don't they realise both are dishonest and extreme to the max?

They are obsessive compulsive conservitives that actually believe FOX is providing them balanced information.

Have you noticed? FOX viewers can't have friends that don't watch FOX. Easy to spot them too. Sometimes I meet people and after a quick hello they go straight into their Hannity impression. FOX has them frothing at the mouth with hate.... Obama the muslim.....liberals!....Bengazi!....Obamacare....Death Panels.....Cuba!...liberals!...socialists!...Thats al they want to talk about. They recite a big list of the last 6 months of Roger Ailes talking points.

I can't get away fast enough from these guys...and they are all the same.

Right here on Thai Visa you can spot the FOX viewers instantly.

I always thought ThaiVisa had a sponsorship deal with Fox News and The Daily Mail (Hail)?

What made me think that?

After we have examined the sawdust we will let you have a copy of the report.

Have you ever watched O'Reilly when he has a guest who is offering a cogent argument from the left?

He essentially shouts them down and doesn't let them finish a sentence.

That's why we all laugh at the "Fair and Balanced" <deleted>.

The news reporting on Fox is fair and balanced. It is the commentary which is not.

Sadly they give very little news and far too much commentary.

I do have to say, watching O'Reilly spin his lies about his actual experience is amusing.

Is Fox News in the States exactly as it is seen in Thailand apart from the commercial breaks? It seems there is not all that much actual news here...?

Yes.

O'Reilly is not an activist or reformer or "champion of the _____" (fill in the blank with whatever you like). He's a TV personality. He's an entertainer. He has enough money (I'd guess he's in eight figures), so what drives him now is ratings and ego. You think he really believes the crap that comes out of his mouth? Do think any of those guys do? C'mon....

Even the owner of FOX, Rupert Murdoch is dismissive of the extreme politics & doesn't believe the crap Roger Ailes, the Chairman of FOX News puts out. The anger, the bombast, hate, the paranoia, fear mongering, the lies.

"You know, Roger is crazy." Rupert said, shaking his head. "He really believes that stuff."

"The reporting is held to the standard of a late October campaign ad."

In 1993, Roger Ailes waged a secret campaign on behalf of Big Tobacco, to derail health care reform!

Megan Kelly is an idiot & don't get me started on Greta....Can't stand either of them.

I like Bill though.

Many, liberal-biased 'news' stations. And then there is Fox.

Do the pale eyes that glow in the night frightens liberals so?

For decades they 'owned' the nightly news. Now that they don't, they cry.

I agree.

I think every bleeding heart Liberal out there should send me a check.

I'm down & out. Send me free money!!!!!!!!!

Is "don't own," the same thing as "have never owned"? facepalm.gif

Nevermind. I guess it's silly to expect you to understand what I'm saying, when you don't even know what you're saying:

"Some of the stuff coming out of MSNBC, CNN, NYT and others are just as farcical, but Fox takes it to a whole new level of stupidity and hypocrisy.

Is some of the stuff "just as," as in the same, or does Fox take it to a "new level"? Make up your mind. Because if you see what's being reported by the left as farcical, is it not due to their own stupidity and hypocrisy? If, for example, "fast and furious" and Benghazi had happened on the Republicans' watch, Democrats would have behaved the same as the right is now. The difference is the media would have been smearing the Republicans, too. Instead, we got outlets like the Huffington Post protecting the Obama administration on both issues (among many others) at every turn.

If you can't see that, you're blind.

And acknowledging the clear bias in the media (as well as academia) doesn't mean I'm not also independent, because politically I very much am. If you need some evidence, sure, I'll oblige: among other issues, I'm firmly in line with Democrats on decriminalizing weed, as well as shifting funding on the so-called war on drugs away from law enforcement and treating the issue as the public health crisis it is. I'm also pro gay marriage, pro choice and for net neutrality.

10,000 gomens and a bottle of Assai to the right winger that doesn't like my posts. I'll do better next year...lol.

Anybody that thinks the "main (lame) stream media" is liberal is living in a troglodyte hole. LMS is corporate owned news that spews corporate propaganda along with the "guvmit's" side of any story while ignoring the real news. Yes, O'Reilly is one of the worst spewers of right wing extremist hate, but faux (not the) news is the king of right wing propaganda. How many real studies out now showing that faux (not the) news viewers are the most ignorant, at least 2 that I remember. Rasmussen polls are right wing, lets try republican this time, and biased, btw. Oh, I'm not a liberal, I'm a left wing militant and I can't stand Hillary the corporatist, a neocon, neoliberal that would wage eternal war if it benefited her corporate owners. For faux (not the) news viewers, everybody is entitled to the truth, not your version of the truth. I guess kinda' like the bible, I believe so it is true, ah duh. Hey, how about a marriage made in right wing extremist heaven, Sarah Palin and Bill O'Reilly, if their lips are moving they are spouting lies and ignorance.

If O'Reilly gets tossed by FN (which I doubt), I wonder what he'll do. Probably after a one year disappearence he'll come up with a sensationized book of some sort and try to cement himself in as a right-wing elder opinionator. If he were 20 years younger I could easily see him going to a place like MSNBC and becoming a liberal champion. Same with Megyn Kelly, who I thought was never that good with the frothing-at-the-mouth stuff; actually she's number one on my list of possibilities of who at FN will be the first to go Howard Beale. (For reference, see the movie Network). She's not an idiot, but she plays one on TV.

For you right-wingers here's a little something from one of your own. Fast-foward to 3:30 to get right to the meat.
