Danish man found dead in Phuket hotel room

PHUKET: The body of a 53-year-old Danish man was found in his hotel room in Patong this morning (March 1).

At 11:15am, one of the hotel maids found Mr Kenny Olesen lying on his bed fully clothed.

The cause of death is still under investigation, but police say it may be from alcoholism.

Police estimated that he had been dead for more than eight hours. Mr Olesen had been undergoing a rehabilitation programme at Bangkok Phuket Hospital.

I'm glad the Phuket News changed its photograph, which originally was a full picture of the dead man's main passport page complete with all information.
