jamesjohnsonthird
Cheap buffets are slop. You need to spend 1,000 and up to see a spread of quality stuff. You're wrong there. There are several places that manage to do something perfectly acceptable for around 125B-225B. And for something good you only need to spend about 750B at the Royal Cliff. 750 for the Royal Cliff. That's a very good price. Guess I'm used to the Bankok prices. Years ago, I tried every 5 star buffet in town. Around 1,200 and up. Sheraton/Hilton have been my favourite. I think it was 1,400 last time I was there.
Thailand J
In case anyone is interested, the delicious sausages served at I-Rovers is from KPK, near BIg C Extra, retail at 260B/kg. http://www.kpkfoods.com/
Pheat123
Without a price tag and preferences maybe hard to say which is "best". Guess there is some fancy breakfast at Hilton or Royal Cliff up to the 4 digit range? Good value for money: 150 Baht buffet breakfast at APEX hotel, on 2nd road short distance north of corner with Soi Diana. Eggs different style, sausage, bacon, toast/bread, jam, salads, some pasta/sauce, misc Thai dishes, some cake, fruit / fruit salad, juice, milk, cereals, coffee and tea. What have I forgotten? All you can eat/drink. Its not a fancy comfy salon/place, but more of a "mensa hall" Buy 10 coupons and get them for 1100 Baht. LolRecommending the apex hotel buffet? If you like to eat pig swill Go for it Has to be the worst breakfast buffet in Patts But is deffo the cheapest You can fill up for the next day or two for little Baht But make sure you have plenty of bog roll handy
Pheat123
Casa Pascal for a good quality buffet and they also cook stuff to order, its 225 baht but great value, also they have a loyalty points scheme. Very close by is: The Swan, 2nd rd end of Soi Post Office, English breakfast at 99 baht which I think is much better than the iRovers one for the same price. YepTotally agree The swan early bird breakfast 99Baht between 9.00 am -12.00am Super Quailty for the Baht Heaps better than I rovers 129 Bahter

Every thing is El-cheapo cold and stale....

Had brunch there yesterday - didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Reasonable food, good service and exceptional value at 225 Baht.

Many years ago, I thought it was OK for 100 baht, but usually I preferred to pay 60-100 more for healthier, tastier and better quality food - usually not a buffet. champers
This won't wash with a lot of the readership because of the cost, but I went to Baba Eating House this week for their Baba Brekkie priced at 220 Baht with a pot of English tea for an extra 80 Baht. It consisted of a rasher of bacon, a portobello mushroom, a large sausage, several baby tomatoes and 2 poached eggs on sourdough toast. All was cooked very well and the eggs and toast were particularly delicious. The sausage was hearty and spicy. Though pricey, I did rate it at value for money and I left feeling full. I would have liked a fruit juice served too and I prefer tomatoes confited rather than fried or grilled. These are only minor issues though. I was the only customer sat in the cafe, but there was a large cake order for the bank accross the road. Baba is on Naklua /Pattaya road next to Family Mart straight after the Aiyara Hotel. The Kungsri Bank in can't miss bright yellow is straight opposite. I have eaten there in the evening a couple of times and the food is different from the norm. The menu is small but big enough and their desserts are homemade and scrummy. They sell the cakes, desserts and bread that are made onsite. RECOMMENDED as a treat now and again for breakfast unless you are well flush. Edited February 15, 2017 by champers
