No meeting of Putin, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande planned for nearest future - Kremlin

Last night the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France discussed the possibility of holding a meeting at the level of foreign ministers

MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. The leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France do not plan to hold another meeting in the nearest future, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on Tuesday.

"They [leaders of Russia, France, Ukraine and Germany] did not discuss holding a personal meeting [during last telephone talks]," Peskov said.

Last night, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Francois Hollande, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed the possibility of holding a meeting at the level of foreign ministers, Peskov said. Answering a question on whether this may mean preparations for a meeting of the four leaders are underway, Peskov said: "We don’t know how it [the possible meeting of foreign ministers] will end.".
