Dry Bags

Greetings! I'm planning a 2-week cross-country trip soon and i'm interested in getting some dry bags to strap to the top of my Givi Trekker Outbacks (37L). I'm also looking for some Rok Straps to cinch them down. Does anyone here have any recommendations? Also a convenient place to purchase in Pattaya or online for extra points!

Thanks!

Not much to be had in Pattaya that I seen but check the Kawa big bike shop on Sukhumvit, they now have a big accessories shop next to the bike shop.

You can try contacting Panda rider in BKK, I think they ship to Patts

I will buy a US30 ride pack soon for light travel.

Yes Rok straps are it!!!!

I just did a 1000 km + weekend with a regular daypack backpack on the passenger seat, and a Steinberger guitar on the passenger footpeg to the tail section, with two (only) of the smaller Rok straps.

I hope someone knows where to get them here, I'd have used at least one more if I had it.

Still: strapping and unstrapping at the beginning/end of the day was a "click click" procedure- easier even then purpose made luggage.

Dry bags, I have a few on my boat, but what a good idea for a bike. Even in the dry they are a good idea, as you can wash the bull dust off after a day's riding and before you open them, they are cheap, hard-wearing and light too.

Check out the US-10 and US-20 drypacks by Kriega- Panda Rider stocks them- I've got one of each- they're nice pieces of kit, and it's usually better to have something specifically made for a motorcycle.

Here's a review of them from Revzilla:

But don't buy black unless you want to use them as a water heater to make coffee, a white or bright yellow will be safer too, especially in the dark.

These seem pretty good
