I am an exchange student in Thailand. My school has issued me an extension letter which provides me evidence for extension until 31 may. But the problem is my home university has booked the air ticket dated to leave on the 2nd June. (charge usd78 if i need to make changes for ticket,and it's troublesome as it's paid by school)

What is the best way to solve this? To pay for the fine, doing nothing but hoping that they have some grace, or any other methods?I am completely new in visa thingy in Thailand so I'm kinda insecure about this...

You can get a further 7 days extension for Bt, 1,900 at immigration, or pay Bt 1,000 overstay fine when leaving the 2nd. There is no consquence whatsoever.

I think I will pay for the fine, as it costs the least.

Then be careful to not expose yourself to immigration checks during the last two days.
