This type of behavior will never end because the Thai government does not turn these guys and gals around and put them back on the plane where they came from. Sadly the numerous empty heads continue to increase yearly and i have no sympathy for any of them. I agree these people are not only a danger to themselves but to others. Their severe lack of common sense, low brain power, and non stop drinking get them into constant problems. One of numerous reason i avoid the tourist crap holes like Pattaya, Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Koh Phi Phi, Pai, Khao San Road. I never have any of these problems with the Thais, getting drugged, getting beaten, getting ripped off, marrying or dating a bar girl, and have been here over fourteen years. I totally agree with you that there are some really super creepy foreigners here both men and women that likely would never be allowed in many countries. Having said that many of this site seem to believe in the i,ll do as i damn please while i am here. And could give a rats ass as to who they harm as long as they and their drinking buddies get their way. I can completely understand why many of the Thais have come to hate us. The Thai haters on this site tend to get themselves into non stop problems because of their lack of common sense and their alcoholism. I totally agree with you. I am ashamed of these people and definitely do not want o be classified the same as them. Having lived in Thailand for 30 years I remember seeing the police at the airport making a guy but a top on who was wearing a string undershirt.

Maybe these "people" dont understand that in the Pattaya area (and other places including Bangkok) family with children live there. Would they like their children to be exposed to these type of people? I hope not and if they didnt mind then lets hope they never have any children

I agree that there is a lot of low life tourism in Thailand and it is embarrassing to be counted as one of their number just because we have a white face but this guy doesn't seem to be causing any trouble,he looks friendly enough and has had a good time,the police don't look as if they are going to arrest him,they are probably more amused than anything else.

@gandalf12, if you dont like (central) Pattaya, you dont have to come anywhere near the place - what's with the endless rants about quality tourists ? Incidents like this happen regularly in Pattaya - getting your knickers in a twist isnt going to change anything. If the Thais were serious about changing things here, they would be trying to make the country another Singapore - how many of us want to live in Singapore ? OK - other than you, how many ?

So much so that I am sure the names Aghmed and Mohamed are far more common than the name Miller.
