Go and back Kualua Lumpur - visa exemption ?

Featured Replies

Hi

As written as requirements in the pined topic, I am French and I am 27 years old, so far away from the retirement age.

I arrived in September, used the exemption visa (French nationality) for almost 30 days, then went to Laos for the education visa and got 3 months, did a first extension and got only 2 months (instead of 3 months) and did again another extension and got only 1 month (thanks a lot pro language and your shit ...). Now I want to stay until the end of April and after I go back to France. My actual visa (so ED visa) finishes on the 10th or 11th of April (don't know because one paper in my visa says 10th while the second says 11th ...) so I just need a couple of days until the end of April or eventually beginning of May. However I don't want to keep going to school because of the waste of time and money so I was thinking of going to Kuala Lumpur with Airasia (so from Don Muang) for a weekend with my girlfriend at the end of March and then come back to Thailand.

Theoretically/normally I should get 30 days when I come back as I am French (France belongs to the G7) and because I come back by airplane. But I am not so sure about it so I am asking you: can I do this or is it a high probability that they refuse me at the airport? or is it better for me to keep going to school.

And anyone knows if a Thai nationality needs a visa to go to Malaysia or she needs nothing except her passport?

Thanks in advance

You can leave an re-enter visa exempt, for 30 day extensible for 30 more.

Thai ppl can also can enter Malaysia visa exempt.

thanks!

You'll be fine.

I think the last time my (Thai) wife went to KL she got permission to stay for 60 days on arrival.

I didn't really notice as we were only there for 5 days.

Don't intend to offer advice on the one, but Thais do not need a visa for Malaysia.
