Temporary stay

Featured Replies

Hello guys. Currently I have temporary stay permitted up to May 14 , but I will go back to my country on April with re entry permit and come back to Thailand on May 7, the problem is how many days they will give when I enter in Thailand(Usually they gave me 90 days) they will give me 90 days or continue my temporary stay permitted up to May 14?( which means only 7 days left to stay in Thailand.)

Thailand).

Your re-entry permit only protects your current permission to stay, so only 7 days.

If you are from a country permitted 30 days on visa exemption the immigration officer may ask which you want. I came in earlier this year and got a 1 day stamp as I was visiting immigration next day to collect my extension, the immigration chap asked if I really only wanted 1 day.

EDIT When you say they normally give you 90 days, is that on a visa exemption or some kind of visa? What is your nationality?

South Korea visa exemption 90 days

Per above, with a re-entry permit they will give you till May 14th.

If you want 90 days, you would need to have the re-entry permit cancelled at immigration.
