March 16, 201511 yr Hello everyone! Can anybody help with information. I have a tourist visa - double entry. I used 2 months, and now I don't want to exempt it, just cross the border in Maesai (a few hours) and comeback the same day but I am not asking for 30 days exemption. I want to use my second entry, is it still possible? Edited March 16, 201511 yr by yulia1988
March 16, 201511 yr Yes, that is possible. But you do know that on a tourist visa you can get a 30 day extension for 1,900 baht? If you go for the extension, make sure you make the second entry before the visa itself expires.
March 16, 201511 yr Author Thank you for the information, because I am afraid that crossing the border by land is closed too. I thought, I must buy a plane ticket - the only option. I know that I can extend it with 1900 for one month more, but due to work issues I have no time next month. So I just wanna use my second entry and get 2 months more now. If it is possible, I will go Chiangrai and do it in Maesai.

Are you aware that "working" whilst in the country on a Tourist Visa is illegal?
March 16, 201511 yr You can do it at Mae Sai or any other border crossing. You do not have to do it by air.
March 16, 201511 yr Author Yes, I know. My employer is making documents for me now, work permit and another type of visa, when I was offered a job I had a tourist visa. Now I am changing documents.
