Track days in Thailand (cost?)

Featured Replies

I'm moving to Thailand in a few months and as a bike enthusiast who always wanted to do track days, thought this could be a nice hobby whilst living there.

How much do track days cost in Thailand in general? Are they cheaper than in Europe? In the UK for instance, they are very expensive, e.g. around 5000 baht for a track day that doesn't include anything else except the use of track, probably even no insurance.

I did a quick google and found a company (highsidetours) organising track days with the cheapest option being 7000baht, but this included various things such as bike hire, equipment fuel, drinks etc. I'm wondering how much do they cost just for using the track for a day, assuming you have your own bike and gear.

Also would be cool to hear any generla experiences from people doing track days!

The new Chang International Circuit here in Buriram got monthly trackdays which are 2000 baht for a morning/afternoon session.

edit: and 3000 baht for a whole day.

Sounds good, not too expensive then.

Don't laugh....but you can usually find... a road racing impromptu track...5555...just look for the guy laying flat on their stomach.. screaming down the roads..
