im study at abac and i have my new passport and i did at the bangkok.but visa section from my school said i have to go back to my country to get a visa because i have new passport i have extend my visa with my old passport but i dont know why he want me to go back. I have all of my documents and everything he said i will get a refuse visa is it possible or should i give a try at the immigration first? And plus my visa is gone already i can pay fine its okay i just dont want to go back to my country!!

If it is a university than you get 1 year extensions of stay from immirgaiton.

A new passport means that you must visit immigration and have your details transferred from the old passport to the new passport. For this you need copies of both old and new paspsort, your arival card and a letter from your embassy regarding your new passport.

But it depends on how long the oevrstay is for, a long overstay might indeed be that you will have to elave the country and get a new visa. A few days is normally no problem.

I over stay for 20 days is it okay?

You cna try it, but suspect you will be told to leave the country and get a new visa. A lot depends on how good reputation the university has, so you might be lucky. But be prepared to leave the country, as the university apperently is telling you.

The sooner you try the better.

Overstay fine is 500 a day, with a maximum of 20,000 baht.

NOT the new passport and the possible transfer of ........... what?

There is nothing to transfer, because your visa has expried and you don't seem to have an extention (or maybe the last extention has expired)

So, travel to any country (I suppose) and upon leaving Thailand take both passports, because your departure card is related to your old passport.

The MAY put some stamp in your new passport regarding the overstay, but that doesn't HAVE to mean anything.
