I was going to post this in the language section but no new posts have been made since Jan. I really need help on translating the following Thai. I cannot copy and paste the text as it is in an image. I even tried to match the letters on a Thai keyboard but had no luck. Is there anyone who can provide a translation from this jpeg? I really need it ASAP. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have shown the jpg to a few Thai neighbors that do not speak very good English. From what I can understand the JJ & is another Thai name. The bottom line appears to translate as "Keep Walking" If anyone has a better translation or what this may mean please let me know.

I too am guessing the top two words are names.

As to the bottom line, I'd translate it more as "want to go forward in the future" but I'm not sure (and it's sorta like "keep walking" or "keep moving"). If we knew the context, somebody could probably come up with a better meaning.

Thanks everyone for their help. Context is hard to explain. I have been seeing a Thai lady for a few of weeks. She has 2 sims and 2 Line accounts. The first account we have been using until she got the second sim and started using the new account. When I pulled a chat history for the old account by mistake the text above was on the front of the account along with a photo of a lot of money. So I myself am unsure of the context. Things have been going mostly well between us and she says she wants to be with me. I cannot be sure of her history or motives at this point. I was very concerned to see the photo of so much money along with the text that I couldn't understand. I am at a point where I have been seriously considering a future with this lady but now I am very confused. Any insight as well as perceived context would be greatly appreciated.

That's some emergency

When you see a picture with a lot of money and something in a language you don't understand on your possible GF Line, it is to me. I don't want to be in the middle of a Thai love triangle or possible illegal activity. So yes to me it is an emergency. I like to to stay alive and out of jail. To some people it may seem like an overreaction. I don't want to reveal the amount of money that is in the picture but suffice it to say that even a fairly well off Farang would consider this a lot of money. Coupled with some names and a message that I had no idea what it was. It did set off the alarm bells. Almost like a zebra instinct. Run like hell at any thing strange and then figure out what it is.

Sorry, I have to agree with neverdie....hardly an emergency and certainly didn't merit the headline you attached to it. And if you're talking about a real girlfriend, then why don't you ask her what it means?

I still can't figure out the context or meaning. Could mean she wants to move forward with your relationship. On the other hand, if somebody in the west told their possible girlfriend or boyfriend that they wanted to "move on", I'd take that to mean they're dumping him/her! Context, context, context.

Sorry to all for the topic headline used. Perhaps I was overreacting to a perceived problem that I thought needed immediate attention. The message in question was not directed at me but a home page for everyone to see. Like I said in previous post, I don't want to be involved in something that I don't need to be. It also appears to the bottom of a males face over the money, adding to the suspicion. Thanks to everyone for their help.

Top part looks more like a business band to me, or perhaps the name of a couple.

Although สามหมก is more of a nickname than a name according to my wife.

Add in that you saw a picture of money and I'd "guess" that its maybe the Sin Sod from someone's wedding, or possibly advertising for something random. The secondary phrase kinda supports either of those theories too.

If there isn't a conversation to go with it (which would shed significantly more light on things than this picture), then I'd go with advertising/spam.

Either way, relax dude :) As the conversation is probably above board, although in saying that, you still have to be sensible and cautious with any relationship you get into here. So don't risk more than you can afford to lose, and try to minimise the risk involved where possible. I think there are plenty of threads available on the forums with tips on how to do that, or you could create a new one specific to your situation (Maybe in the Farang Pub or General sections).
