I looking for some advice please

i am currently on a visit in france

for some reason (long story) i need to change the birth date on my passport

i can probably do it either while i am here in france or in the french ebmassy in bangkok

i have a non imm b thai visa on the old passport

what would be the easiest way to get the thai visa transferred to the new passport with the updated date of birth

Once issued visas cannot be transferred or altered except in cases of gross error .

Do you have a valid non-b visa or an extension of stay you applied for at immigration.

Visas cannot be transferred. You have to use both passports until the visa expires.

An extension of stay can be transferred at immigration..

can i transfer it to the new passport which have a different birth date? how would i go getting the new passport with the modified date of birth and extend the visa and work permit with the minimum hassle

Changing a birth date on a passport would be very unusual.

I would suggest obtaining a letter from the passport issuing authority explaining the reasons for the change which can then be translated into Thai for the benefit of the Thai immigration authorities.
