Friend complained he had pain in ear sought treatment at hospital,week or so later I came down with it ,both ears too. took various medications for a month before pain let up. Now wear earplugs and made up solution i part rubbing alcohol/1 part white vinegar and a couple of drops in ear after swim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are various diy remedies, or you can get an experienced, MD to extract this disgusting muck. I haven't suffered from this since i came to Thailand.
