I am privately teaching a coupe of kids in the neighborhood. Is it okay(legal) to show and teach about the movie Animal Farm?

You might consider Lord of the Flies, Brave New World, A Clockwork Orange (maybe too odd with the vernacular there), and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Blade Runner basis).
