One Year Thai Working Holiday Visa?

Featured Replies

Hello

I am a New Zealand citizen and are looking at applying for a 1-year working holiday visa to Thailand. NZ & Australian citizens have the ability to do this:

http://www.thaiembassy.org/wellington/th/services/779/17705-Working-Holiday-Visa.html

While I am not necessarily intending to work per-se (just travel and live off savings for 1 year), I figure this visa would be good in that I will not be required to make border runs etc.

I have read through this thread on this visa:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/525387-working-holiday-visa-for-thailand/

But it is a couple of years old now.

Does anyone have any recent experience with obtaining and using this visa? Any general advice would be appreciated!

Cheers

Do you understand the meaning of "tertiary education" ? If so just inquire at the RTE in Wellington.

Yes my Bachelor's degree from the University of Auckland should cover that thumbsup.gif The reason for me asking is that in the last thread there seemed to be a lot of need-to-know info that was not on the RTE website or even provided by the RTE..

Let us know how it goes. As you noted, no recent forum knowledge.
