I will be applying for a tourist Visa on the 31st of March and noticed on the occupation section it says to specify current position and name of employer.

My teaching job ends on the 30th and won't be renewing a contract.

Should I just write unemployed or do I write my last job?

I was going to write teacher but theres that part that says current position and employer so I am not sure.

Any input would be appreciated.

Write "not applicable" or the abbreviation "n/a"

No one will check on or care what you write.

Thanks for the replies. I will just write student as I plan to go on to graduate school. I will let you know what happens.
