have a double entry tourist visa......have done 60 days plus 30 day extension.....will head to vientianne soon to validate second entry.....am I correct in understanding that all I have to do is walk across bridge and get stamped in then cross over to other side and get stamped out of laos then back across bridge to thai immigration and initiate second portion of the double entry visa....maybe total of 3 hours......any advice or recommendations greatly appreciated....

Just clear Thai immigration, cross the bridge. get a Lao visa on arrival, enter Laos and then turn around and return to Thailand.

Just be sure you do it on or before the enter before date on your visa.
