hansgruber
Seen it a few years ago in Phuket. It's an amazing spectacle. Moon looks suspended in the sky.
madmitch
Unfortunately at the time of the total eclipse the sun will be below the horizon, but should make for some spectacular viewing before sunset, weather permitting.
hansgruber
I'm looking for the moon. Where is it?
LivinginKata
I'm looking for the moon. Where is it? You won't see the moon yet looking West from Kata, you need to be looking East from Chalong side.
beechbum
Got a great view of it from the balcony here in Chalong.
madmitch
OK, which idiot didn't read it properly and expected a solar eclipse? Have been watching the moon over the Kata hills..
villagefarang
We just came in from watching in our front yard, here in Chiang Rai. We missed the peak time as we had to wait for it to come over a mountain. When we first saw it, there was only a sliver of moon showing.

Guest
Couple of photos from Ao Por. The view was not bad at all, while waiting for the moon to show up. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of haze, so when the moon finally was visible, it was quite high up already. The shadows, compared to normal crescent moon, are quite different during the moon eclipse.
