I first flew to Thailand in Sept. 2014 from USA, where I got the visa exempt stamp for 30 days, then went to Cambodia for a few weeks and then returned to Thailand and got a new visa exempt stamp for 30 days. I followed that by going to Laos for a few weeks and then returned again to Thailand on the visa exempt. Next I went to Vietnam for about 2 months and got a tourist visa for 60 days single entry. My current visa is expiring on May 1st, and I MAY have to extend it. If I extend it, what documents do I need? And how long does it take to get?

Finally, after I get the extension and leave the country after 30 days, or even if i don't get the extension and still leave the country (May 1st).... will I have any trouble getting the double entry visa in Laos? I have never got a visa there, only in Vietnam. I just worry beause I have entered Thailand 4 times since Sept. 2014.

All help and replies are appreciated.

Thanks!

You can apply for the 30 day extension at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. It will be done while you wait.

You will need a completed TM7 form with an attached 4cm X 6cm photo. You will need copies of your passport photo page, visa, entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card.

Getting the extension nor your previous entries will have any effect on you being able to get a 2 entry tourist visa in Laos.

So you don't need to prove onward travel when getting an extension?

NO !
