The address on your wife's tambien ban does not matter. But you will be asked for proof of residence in Korat when you apply for the 60 day extension.

You will get the 60 day extension while you wait.

If you were applying for a one year extension you would get a under consideration stamp with a 30 day report back date..

2.24 In the case of visiting a spouse or children who are of Thai nationality:
Each permission shall be granted for no more than 60 days.

1. Application form.
2. Copy of applicant’s passport.
3. Copy of household registration certificate.
4. Copy of national ID card of the person having Thai nationality.
5. Copy of a marriage certificate or copy of a birth certificate.

So with this paper i can get a 60 day extension of my Non O visa?

Yes can get a 60 day extension to visit your wife. Those are the requirements from the police order.

You must of talked to a an agent that either didn't know about the 60 day extension or was trying to scalp you out of 30k baht.

It has to be at an office where you can provide proof of residence within their area of responsibility. What they want for proof of residence will vary by office.
