April 21, 201511 yr Those are some really great photos. This link also has a lot of Korat photos from the 1966/1967. http://www.fescanphoto.com/korat/ Saw a can of "Schlitz" beer in one of the photo sets. Great memories.
May 1, 201511 yr Thank you very much for the pictures. Its a shame that places have to change with progress.
May 2, 201511 yr Its still a boring shit hole such a nice comment. Remember...only the boring get bored. Life is what you make it, wherever you are. Up to you!
May 2, 201511 yr Thanks for the photos. This one, looks exactly like Sihku main street does now (apart from being rammed with traffic).
May 10, 201511 yr Author Thanks for the photos. This one, looks exactly like Sihku main street does now (apart from being rammed with traffic). Another poster said the same thing, looks exactly like Sihku, but for sure it is Korat. I don't remember the name of the street but if those two samlors were to continue straight ahead for another 20 meters they would be at the back of the Lady Mo statue.
August 5, 201510 yr Wow, what a difference compared to now. Those pics look similar to Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam do nowadays; narrow roads, lots of sand on the shoulders, even more chaotic traffic than today, more bicycle cyclos. I guess those countries in 30-40 years will only look like Thailand does now.
January 21, 20179 yr oh awesome, can i post some of pic of Korat in my fanpage? and my site also happykorat.com i will credit yours. Thank you
