Thanks for posting the video Winnie. Several people including myself have posted snake photos in the past and they are so difficult to identify by diy googling. More often than not its a 50/50 between a harmless and dangerous.

I am 100% sure now that my photo is the Laotian Wolf Snake; so I have learned something.

My other 100% ID was a Malayan Pit viper on a path on the way up to Doi Suthep. Making the decision to pass/jump over that one was lets say a long drawn out affair; full of fear and bravado.

no doubt someone will now tell me that was a harmless rattlesnake!

Have seen both the wolf snakes and kraits, so be careful as they are hard to distinguish when they are moving around. The kraits have a deadly bite.

Here is a krait....

What is the point of displaying photos of dead snakes?

Can anyone really enjoy seeing photos of dead animals? Sad.

I didnt ask anyone to enjoy it.

I also didnt ask a cat to chew it and drop it outside my door.

For future reference for myself i would like to know how safe i am with wildlife in my garden and no doubt others do too.

If you cant say something useful then button it.

If the cat ain`t dead, than my guess is the snake was harmless.

Thats what cats do, they kill things and put them at the doorsteps of loved ones.

As far as safety of the wildlife in your garden, how are we suppose to know what you have?

rats.mice, shrews, birds, she died of old age a few months back, now the lizards, snakes

etc are returning,so don't think i will get another cat.
