My girl friend and I will go to Samui on the end of Sep. I want to reserve a hotel which is most romantic but not too expensive. This is the first time we go to Thailand. Who can give me some suggestion?

1. don't go to a HOTEL.....

2. don't go to the crowded places like Chaweng Beach or Lamai...

3. go WEST or SOUTH.... today we visited the most tranquil beaches and bungalow resorts with almost NOBODY there and it was quiet....soooo silent...with sooooooooooooooooooo many palmtrees and calm sea....

4. NO NEED to book in advance......!

5. rent a car (better NO motobike=too dangerous) I can give you a good rental company if you like, and discover it for YOURSELF!

2 the most romantic place is anywhere u stay with you lover

3 i went to samui with my (ex) BF we lived at coral bay .. lovely one .. quiet , not so far from party place, we rented AVIS car (check it well before driving)

but i had a good time there... it was a romantic place i was there..

Fisherman's village in Bo phut- is very romantic place with lots of small hotels, guesthouses,restaurants,bars and shops. no need to book in advance.

i stayed in the fishermans village in a lovely boutique hotel called the Waterfront not expensive at all and you can choose from a room or a little beach hut! you just walk out straight onto the beach there is a hammock and a pool and a great massage!!

this place is great and its run by a great british couple! excellent for a laid back romantic break near enough to the nightlife but just far enough away to relax
