Cool, clear and lovely light. What a contrast to those smoggy days a couple of months back.

Long may it continue...

My thoughts exactly this morning when I was looking towards the mountain. Such a contrast to a month ago.

Looks like it was taken from up high, somewhere near San Sai? Perhaps the top of Central Fiesta Mall?

I spent the morning cycling out to Doi Saket and back and the weather was glorious... thumbsup.gif

Bah humbug!

Huh? Remind me not to follow you into the woods! Obviously the photographer is facing west, maybe slightly northwest. Then....if you'll notice....there's the moat down there....so no doubt the photographer is some high point in a building on the south side of Chang Lor.

Edit: Going to take a wild guess....maybe taken from the Life in Town building on Tippanet?

No matter the location of the picture it still looks so clear and nice.

"Long-term exposure to air pollution showed harmful effects on the brain in this study, even at low levels, particularly with older people and even those who are relatively healthy," said lead study author Elissa Wilker, instructor of medicine at the Harvard Medical School.
"The magnitude of association that we observed for brain volume was similar to approximately one year of brain ageing," Wilker said.
Fundamental changes in the structure of the cerebral brain volume and smaller brain size are markers of age-associated brain atrophy.
The small infarcts, typically located in deep regions of the brain, have been associated with neurological abnormalities, poorer cognitive function, dementia, and are thought to reflect small vessel disease, she concluded.

Well, you never know, do you? Denial could be a symptom of brain damage.

Finally, now you can take your mask off and go outside.

The afternoon wasn't too shabby either. Great day at the golf course.

... especially was this about Chiang Mai, and not about dirty air, like as in ol' BKK's

Ah, there you are. Lovely to see you back. Now I know I'm Chiang Mai.

Yeah, a few weeks now and then is good for you. It makes you smarter, which is obvious when reading some of the posts on this forum.

Well, you never know, do you? Denial could be a symptom of brain damage.

After all the drugs and booze I have taken in my life, a bit of dodgy air isn't gonna make a difference.

I was just behind that cloud in the middle, near the top, waving back when you took that photo.

Finally, can walk outside without carrying an oxygen bottle...

Hopefully tomorrow is a carbon copy of today..even cool this evening when I went for my run

My thoughts exactly this morning when I was looking towards the mountain. Such a contrast to a month ago.

Such a contrast to when I flew out two weeks ago, too.

That looks a lot better , now could you take another pic on top of the moat wall with a Chinese bird taking a pee ?

Two questions

1. Why has no one posted this video? I wake up singing it every day.

2. Why are you posting this on this forum? This is the moaners and whingers forum. I did hear talk of a petition to get the Mods to create a Happy forum, but I see it as a non-starter. I can see the logic,.... a little place for the annoying Happy folk to chat with the other Happy people, but ultimately, it would come down to numbers. Not enough people to justify the outlay.

It is heavy haze here in Doi Saket. I cannot see any of the hills, let alone Sutep.

Nice photo, Dave. Yep, still looked pretty good this morning....let's hope it stays that way for a while. Presuming we get some rain a couple of times a week from here on out, it should.

How can a place be ''beautiful' when its hitting 40c on most days and humidity 90+%

What an awful morning in CM ., its in the high 30's already and still rising
