6 Months In, 6 Months Out

Featured Replies

There is a rumour going around that from July the new ruls will be that a tourist cannot stay for more than six months in the country, and then has to leave FOR SIX MONTHS before they can retrun.

Is this true, or another rumour?

I know so many people who work hard at home for four months, then come to enjoy here for 8 months. This law would stop all of that completely.

But I have looked over the webpage and canot find anything about it.

PLEASE someone clear this up for me. Is it true? How will it be enforced? Are there any loopholes or ways around it?

It is another rumour. But de facto residency while on tourist visa's will be targetted by Immigration in the future.
