I recently got my new passport and went to the Cambodian border chong chom with my old and new passport.

After a hours wait they wrote something in Thai with my old passport number.

They then stamped in my new passport the departure stamp.

On returning they stamped in the entry stamp for Thailand along with my departure card.

They were great all the way through and I even gave them a tip.

Do I need to transfer my multi entry NON O based on marriage.

I did have the letter / document from the british embassy saying to transfer the visa to new passport with me

I tried to do it at my local immigration Korat, but got told not here.

So do I need to transfer and if so can I do it at Ladprao 94 or does it have to be Changwattana.

Is there anything else I need to transfer from old passport.

Sorry for long winded question.

The NON O multi entry based on marriage was from a consulate savannakhet

Visas are not transferred, only extension of stay.

Just travel with both passports.

Is this "multi entry NON O based on marriage" a Visa obtained from a Thai embassy or consult ?

if so there is nothing to do and whilst the Visa is valid both passports must be presented at borders.

Visa was from a consulate. Also what is the document from the embassy saying to transfer visa or does it just mean stamp out and into Thailand?

The embassy letter is just a standard form and and does not take into account that visas cannot be transferred.

As said only extensions of stay can be transferred.
