Visa run to Vientiane

Hi

My last visa run to Vietiane is last 5 years ago and let me ask some questions here.

1. Is there VIP Bus to Chiang Mai to Nong Khai? (not Aya's VAN car)

2. Is there special bus to Vientiane from Udon Thani? (There's a bus service 5 yrs ago. They drop us at friendship bridge and wait at laos side)

3. Any recommandation hotel near Embassy with resonable price?

4. Where do we get a token or queue no. at Embassy ?

5. 13th May is Thai holiday. So Embassy will also close on that day?

6. Should Visa extension cancellation date be same as the date of crossing border?
