Jeddah Jo
Can someone help me with this please? หนีดอกซังคนหวานผ่านสื่อว่ะ My Thai is not bad but there are a couple of words used here I am not familiar with ซัง - sang and สื่อ - sèu I have a feeling it is a figurative expression. Many Thanks, JJ.
SlyAnimal
Wifey hasn't read it, just listened to me say it (she's driving), and my pronounation wasn't perfect, but she said it sounded like Isaan and that ซัง is Isaan for dislike.
lostinisaan
Was asking my wife, but she's got no idea. But please see what the words in this particular sentence actually mean: And she's from Isaan. หนี ดอก ซัง คนหวาน ผ่าน สื่อ ว่ะ nĕe dòk sang kon wăan pàan sèu wâ หนี nĕe escape ; avoid ; flee ดอก dòk (financial) interestflower ซัง sang stubble (of rice) คนหวาน kon wăan sweet person ผ่าน pàan pass ; pass over ; pass by สื่อ sèu to communicate ; to convey ; to pass on (a message, news or information) ว่ะ wâ (particle used at the end of sentences which makes them sound impolite or aggressive in general, but show close familiarity when used with friends) P.S. Just asking my 16 year old son, same result. It doesn't make any sense. Similar to: Escape of media through the sweet man-wa would be the best translation, but the wa at the end would make it to a question. SlyAnimal
Ok got my wife to look at it, she said that it's definitely Isaan and roughly translates to: I have to go as I don't like to see someone so sweet on social network Kinda in a fun way & not really serious
