zaphod reborn
Amazing how they swiftly come to action when a foreign fishing vessel enters their territorial waters, but they can't act when their own fishing boats are involved in human trafficking. shirtless
It would be fair to say Thailand is not innocent either only when the last fish is caught will they understand the damage they are doing in the name of greed

There could be a very good reason for that
falangjim
Look at the size of those guns! I'd say I was impressed, but nothing impresses me about the fishing industry in Thailand.

senor123
Something weird about that photo. As mentioned before, the guns are really long, or the servicemen are really short, but the other weird thing is that the MPs are wearing short long pants or long short pants. atsiii
"..... arrested its five members" ? Photo of nine civilians. Yes, in Thailand, 5 Vietnamese + 5 Camboians = 9 arrested and photographed criminals. Perhaps the 10th person had enough 'cents' (pun intended) to avoid arrest?

Stray
I didn't think they could find boats unless they had an 'approved' GPS tracking device attached. Or, is it just local boats with illegal crews that they just can't seem to find?
