Folks

Sorry if this has already been discussed but yesterday when I went to renew my non-O, my company lawyer had me sign a document detailing the rules of overstay.

Are these new and being enforced or are they old and not being enforced?

Those rules that were proposed a year ago have never been approved by a higher authority and probably never will be. But immigration is still having people sign that acknowledgement.

Thanks Ubonjoe. Figured you would set me straight.

As I read it though it doesn't sound like such a bad idea. Thailand has a visa to fit most legitimate circumstances, the people most affected would be those who are least desired here and contribute less...
