those of you who are not single excluded (maybe)... if there existed a "boy bar" near you that was tasteful and catered to lady farangs, would you check it out? it's strange that there is not the male equivalent to girl bars... except for the ones geared towards gay men. this bar would allow no gay men to pick up the boys- it would be exclusively for foreign women on their own. and the boys would volunteer to work (not a problem finding them i would expect). it would have shows etc.... would you buy a drink and chat up a boy or not? would you consider transactional sex for fun?

I went to a boy bar in Patpong with some friends for a laugh. Of course, there was the gay sex show, and they were all walking around with their cock rings on - ouch!

ooh i would have to admit i might do it in japan. have a thing for japanese boys. es as others have pointed out it is quite easy to get sex for free. but i am not suggesting anyone would pay for it because they were desperate. rather, you would be paying for the no-strings-attached experience in which you have the upper hand by default. i definitely think it would be fun once.

Maybe. Maybe not. Japanese women are not the same as Western girls in reference to an earlier post.

Unless she was going to target a really specific group (ie older women or something) I think she'd probably sell more drinks on the novelty factor but once that wore off, business could be slow. But, I guess if she constantly targeted incoming tourists then maybe the novelty factor would work. Not sure, but honestly? I doubt it.

I think you've left out one very important purpose that sex clubs provide: a place for businessmen to discuss business, make deals, celebrate successes, etc. (Excepting the single sex tourist, of course, but what percentage of the customers do they actually constitute?)
