Owning a car in Pattaya Why?

Featured Replies

Thank-you for having the decency to apologise.

I screwed up. Wasn't the first time and won't be the last. I owed the apology to you.

I completely agree with you , but really it's dangerous not only for kids , it's like gambling to ride a bike here, night or day .

In a car , driving only in the city you're safe most of the time.

I've only tried a motobike taxi one time here and that was enough for me.

Hello!

If you live in Pattaya and you are " single " ( highly recommended ...) You don't need a car or a motorbike! There is no reason apart from being just " bloody lazy " why you can't walk everywhere. If it's a distance of 3 KM or less then just walk. It's also very good for you,it's safer and you get a lovely tan and stops you from looking " hideously white & fat " ....

The problem with walking everywhere for a guy like me is that I am neither hideous nor fat and I get hit on and shouted at and sometimes groped by every bar girl, massage girl, gay man, lady boy in existence, in addition to the Indian tailors and other salesman. I'm sure this is exciting for a newbie but tedious for someone who has spent a ton of time here.. Furthermore walking is quite dangerous itself as you are walking with the traffic on a lot of parts (Soi Buakhow, Soi Diana, etc). In most of the world I like to walk but not Pattaya.
