thanks!

I ordered already at iHerb

They are fast in shipping and without problems for customs, but I bookmarked this page for next time.

Better not to bother with Thai supplements, the quality is often inferior compared to US or European brands. I've also found the supplements to sit on the shelves for too long and the constant fluctuation in air temperature doesn't do the product any good either.

Check out www.iherb.com. Shipping to Thailand is usually only $2 to $4. I order like twice a month and have only been charged the standard 400 baht customs import fee two times last year.

What kind of vitamin C are you looking for? Plain ascorbic acid? Buffered? Liposomal?

And then, organic? Synthetic or from whole foods?

I order from iHerb regularly and have never been charged a custom fee.

I keep each order under $50

I've ordered from Puritan for 40 years, good products and good prices, reliable. They always shipped to Thailand, my last order was Feb this year, but now they no longer do business with Thailand. If anyone can tell me why, let me know.

2 online site I have found are:

http://www.puritanthailand.com/

http://www.biovea.com/th/

I used to order from vitacost but this year it seems the government has cracked down on vitamins being imported. Was told I needed a license to import medicine. Had never had a problem before this.

Have been looking for reasonably priced alternatives here. These 2 seem the best. I have not used either yet. I know someone that uses Puritans with no problem. Don't really like their website design though.

Actually a couple of others too but less impressed with them.

http://www.vitaminsthailand.com/ ( a lot of 'call for price' on this one)

Puritans stopped shipping to Thailand a few months ago as well as some others I notice. Instead, I ordered from Swanson's which looks to be as good or better value. DHL tracking shows the package left Customs on Tuesday, but as of Thursday it hasn't gotten to Chiang Mai yet. My guess is that the Thai gov has been picking on the vitamin suppliers and a lot of them don't want to bother with it anymore.

I love the Puritans webpage...It is always said that your webpage should be different than others. They have done it :-))

But they are all expensive....

Ok, not good as the package went to Airport customs in Chiang Mai instead of local post office. The last time they were going to confiscate the whole order (that one was from Puritan) but my wife talked them into taking only 1/3. This is a small order ($150) so it shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully, they will let me by with the tax and import duty, I forget how much that amounts to about 17% I think, will let you know what happens Monday.

Never any problems with iHerb.....

Usually the customs shows mercy if whining enough.....don't know for Chiang Mai......but hold the onion ready....
