Phuket > Sadao (Malaysia) land crossing, 30 days?

Featured Replies

I want to go from Phuket to Sadao and back again in one day, to get a 30 day VOE.

Will I have any problems? I did several 30 day VOEs a couple of years ago, and I have tourist Visas and Non-B Visas in my passport too.

What is a VOE ?

If you mean a "visa on arrival" then those are only available to the citizens of a few countries and cost 1000 Bht for a 15 day entry.

Sadao is not a good crossing to use. The will tell you that you have to stay overnight to get another entry. It would be better to go to the Pedang Baser crossing.

You will only get a 15 day visa exempt entry unless you are from a G7 country.

Satun from phuket is closer ( about 6 hours each way)
