Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce to invest in chocolate production in Thailand

President of Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce Martin R. Kuenzler disclosed that Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce will invest in chocolate production as well as hospitals in Thailand. He disclosed that Thailand is an ideal country to to invest in chocolate production.

Mr. Martin said Swiss investors still view Thailand as an ideal place to invest in, especially in the field of chemical and pharmaceutical products. He said the investors will invest in chocolate production and medical products. He said Thailand is considered to be the second country for investment compared to Singapore while the latter is a hub for services, banks and insurance.

However, Mr. Martin said that there is more potential and stability in investing in Thailand regarding medical products, comparing to the Philippines and Malaysia.

President of Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce referred to the current instability political situation. He said the problems could affect the decisions of investors. He believes more investors will invest in Thailand once the general election takes place and the new government has been established.
