Ok here goes

I entered thailand on the 4 jan this year on a double entry tourist visa. Which ended on the 4 of March

Then I got a 1 month visa from Suratthani

Which ended on the 3 of April

Next I went to Vientiane on the 26 March for my first 2 month visa which ended 24th may

I have just had another 1 month visa issued at Suratthani which ends 23 of this month obviously I will have to go to Lao again. Will there be any problem in getting another visa renewal at Lao what can I expect I have a new job starting next month I Thailand but I will be unable to get the work permit sorted out as the boss in my new job is away in the USA. For another 2 or 3 weeks so my tourist visa will run out before I can apply for the work permit. So I need to stay at least another month. Any advice guys!!!! On the tourist visa just to recap

I came on a double entry visa

Had a 1 month visa issued in Thailand then

I went to Lao for another 2 month visa

And my last visa that is due to expire on the 23 June is a 1 month visa from thailand !!!!

You should be able to get a new tourist visa in laos, at either Savanakhet or Vientiane.

You seem to be very confused !

No "visas" were provided in Thailand perhaps you really mean "extensions of stay" ?

With the correct paperwork (provided by your employer) application for a work permit can be made whilst on a Tourist visa .

The work permit will not be issued until you have, once again with paperwork supplied by the employer, obtained a B visa from outside Thailand .

You may be able to get another tourist visa from Vientiane

All the visas I have had upto now are all tourist visas 1 double entry

1month extension I got in Thailand

Then a 2 month visa from Lao

And my last visa which is due to run out on the 23rd of this month is another 1 month extension I got again at Suratthani thailand I need to stay longer as I have a job starting but not until end of July so my tourist visa will end before I can get to start the new job and apply for a work permit sorry for the confusion nzexpat ! I just need to know if I go to Lao again for another double entry or 2 month tourist visa will there be a problem I'm guessing I will have to show 20000 baht to show I support myself. But apart from that will there be a problem what can I expect??? Thanks

And a 2 month entry from Lao

You apparently have only gotten one tourist visa. If you got it from Vientiane you could easily get 2 more 2 entry tourist visas from them.
