northernjohn
Quiet for sure, and as others stated, good for eating the local farmed tilapia and gazing drunkenly at the lake. Unfortuatly the lake is full of the brain eating parasites that live in snails so no swimming. The flooded temple boat trip is the main attraction it seems. Sounds perfect. It is only me and the wife. Would be a nice break. Not looking for excitement just a relaxing trip to some where else. The trip would be enjoyable in it's self as I really as I really don't get to see any thing else but the city.

elektrified
Disregard everything I said about the Win Hotel. I was referring to the Cozy Nest Hotel. Apparently the entries were reversed on one website where I glanced quickly. Having said that, I would still recommend it and the bar as stated, is very well stocked with imported liquor. About 1000 per night. Edited June 15, 2015 by elektrified
daoyai
I like the view from the ridgetop road as you decend into the valley. great for a 1 or 2 day getaway. They have a winter fair that is kind of sureal, don't wear clown pants, bangmai might be there.

elektrified
Not a surprise. You can't tell the difference between IMG and HCC, either. Same company. The link from an old IMG email forwards right to HCC. So you're wrong again!
bangmai
Tokio Marine is buying HCC for 7.5 Billion; not IMG. They are both backed by LLoyds of London, and so are many others, maybe that's why you are confused. Contact info for HCC: http://www.hcc.com/Contact/tabid/65/Default.aspx Contact info for IMG: http://www.imglobal.com/en/contact-img.aspx?location=topright Stick to what you know about; whatever that may be........
