The Culture Ministry invites the public to use its wallpaper and ringtone download services at its website

The Culture Ministry invites the public to use its wallpaper and ringtone download services at its website, www.m-culture.go.th/ringtone.

The Deputy Permanent-Secretary of the Culture Ministry, Mr. Weera Rojpojanarat (วีระ โรจน์พจนรัตน์), said the website has been opened to promote conservation of Thai culture and to get youngsters to download decent mobile wallpapers instead of pornographic pictures.

Mr. Weera said the website has more than 90 wallpapers, including pictures of the Emerald Buddha image, historical parks and ancient art and objects. It also has more than 50 folk and contemporary songs and Thai classical music to choose from as ringtones.

He said the ministry will add 30 wallpapers and 10 ringtones every month.
