Tourist after the 90days report

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would like to know i made an internship 3 months under a visa ED, after that i have been to vientiane to ask for the tourist visa (2 months)

Last month i made the report (1900THB) for 1 month, but it will be ended soon.

How can I make ? If I go to Vientiane or Kuala Lumpur and come with a tourist visa 1 month? Will it be accept ?

I want to stay for 1 more month in holidays here

Let me know if you can

THANKS

You paid 1900 baht for a 30 day extension of the 60 entry the tourist visa entry. That is not a report of any kind.

You could apply for another tourist visa in Vientiane that would give you another 60 entry. I don't recommend going to KL for one.

If you are from a country eligible for a visa exempt entry you could do a border crossing and return to get a 15 day entry or a 30 day entry if from a G7 country. You could then get a 30 day extension at an immigration office of that entry if you needed more time.

Ok thanks

I have a french passport, you mean I can make a border crossing, even at the cambodian border (by road) and get a 30 days visa?

You can make a border run to Cambodia and get a 30 day visa exempt entry. You don't get a visa.

Or you can go to Laos and get a double entry Tourist Visa 2x 60 days, each 60 day can be extended in Thailand, by 30 days effectively giving you 180 days, or as Ubonjoe says get a single 60 day. You go to the Thai Embassy in Laos to get this visa.
