PATTAYA: -- Region 2 Police Investigators conducted a raid on a North Pattaya Korean Massage and Spa on Tuesday Evening in accordance with a Search Warrant obtained from the Pattaya Provincial Court.

Acting on the strength of warrant number 107/2558 dated 16th June 2015, officers raided the Suvanabhumi Korean Massage & Spa located in Soi Paniachang in North Pattaya.

Officials from the Food and Drug Administration and the Public Health Department accompanied Police, after allegations were made that the venue was selling medicinal and food items to tourists which were not licensed and approved by the FDA.

The manager of the venue, Khun Nucharee aged 55, was arrested after Shark Fins and Bird Nests were found. The items were forensically seized and will be sent to the Thailand Board of Fisheries for analysis.

  • Birds nests illegal, so how come down here and in many other areas do people build purpose specific buildings to encourage nests of swallows in order to supply the Chinese market with birds nests , I am told it is very lucrative too????

First glance thought it said "Pattaya North Korean Massage and Spa" Maybe get a "jung un"?

Gives a whole new meaning to being on the nest at a massage parlous.
