Fuel prices

Recommended Posts

because the actual crude price is only a small component of the actual finished fuel price

Thailand has a fuel fund to subside fuel costs and the coffers of that fund need to be refilled for when the oil price rockets

1) Just checked for Germany. The "down down" is stopped for now.

At least since May the prices are rising.

As far as I know this reflects the price of crude oil rising from long time lows/

2) The Bank of Thailand is fighting hard to get the excessive exchange rate down with some success.

Of course this leads to higher cost for fuel.

91 at 29.xx. Have already forgotten the times that the prices were close to break through 40?

Not so long ago.

Not sure if you would class my Honda Click as a motorbike but Honda recommends 91.

Yes don't worry about it, my pcx2012 had been running 91 E10 since I bought it.

Also my 650cc runs E10 95, my sedan car ran E10 as well.

The biggest worry about gasohol was in older engines where the fuel system was perhaps not suitable for using it, but everything after 2005-2010, don't worry about it.

Low comp. engines can easily run on 91, scooters and so on, most sedan cars. Some bikes/cars do require 95 to avoid "knocking" which can destroy your engine in extreme cases.

The usual nonsense paroles wink.png

Thai scooters are built (specified) for 91 E10.

If you want to have the feeling of some extra power you use 95 E10.

Millions of scooters incl. ours live on that for years.
