More rains forecast for Thailand's Northeast, East and South

BANGKOK, 22 June 2015 (NNT) - More heavy rains are expected in the Northeast, East and South of Thailand as monsoons gain strength over the weekend.

Tropical storm Kujira, which is gaining momentum near China’s Hainan province, is moving closer towards the South of China, bringing steady rains to Thailand’s Northeast until June 25. Those heading to Hainan and Hong Kong are advised to closely follow weather updates.

The southwestern monsoon covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand is strengthening, generating wind and rains. Small boats should be kept ashore as strong winds will generate high tidal waves during June 22-27.

Parts of Bangkok and its vicinity will become cloudy and face thunderstorms. The average temperature ranges from 33-36 degree Celsius.

Had three lots of rain this year Bangfang KhonKaen really need it no village water either and now told as they are going to improve system will get none for two years, yet they waste money improving reasonable roads All makes no sense

Huahin is as dry as a camels backside. Our area don't have municipal water anymore, fortunately we drilled a borehole a few years back.

Didn't they mobilise for bad weather between the 17th and 21st? Been having lovely weather here just north of Kanchanaburi but absolutely zero rain.

udon thani = not one drop - hoping

If storms do come you can follow the lightning real-time here. Had a nice rain last night 50 kilometers East of Kalasin. Looks like it might happen again tonight.
