Where to buy an authentic zippo lighter in Bangkok?

I went to central ladprao today. They have two stores that sell zippo fuel lighters. The display looked very legitimate but when I held the lighters they felt too light to be authentic. I've had several of them over the years so know the feel of them well. Does anyone know of a reliable shop that sells authentic zippo fuel lighters in Bangkok?

For me, a zippo is a zippo if I simply have to shake it with one hand in storm and rain to make fire. Don't make the test in a restaurant or bar, you might set the place on fire :D

Khao San Road, or the neighbouring area.

Might be fake, but full functionality.

Weight is most definitely a determining factor, also pul;ling the lighter out of the case and look inside, the Zippo marking and Patent number should be on the inside, fakes will not ave that. I even found fakes in the Swampy airport at King Power. When I said "Not Real" the guy just put it back and walked away.

There is a Military Good store on second floor Chid Lom all the way in the back - they sell authentic Zippo's, even has he guarantee and are sealed. I often give Zippo's to friends as gifts and would never give a fake. If in doubt, you can alway go on line and check the Part number with Zippo, each one has a unique number.thumbsup.gif

-Fuji supermarket in Suk 49

-The Wine Depot at the Emporium

They come with a seal and lifetime guarantee, and the prices suggest they're legit.

Thanks TunnelRat69. Is that at Central Chid Lom? Sounds like just the kind of place that I'm looking for.

The Hard Rock Cafe Bangkok has specialty Zippos -- for a considerable price. Half a dozen years ago I bought one there to send to an old girlfriend back in the States, and it had the label: "Hard Rock Cafe, Bangkok". I hefted it, lit it up, and decided: oh, yeah, this is the real deal.

The irony was that I bought it here in Thailand (at a marked up price of course) and shipped it to her in the USA, when our hometown is only 30 miles west of Bradford, PA, the Zippo capital in the north Pennsylvania hills. But, as they say, it was the thought that counts.

I didn't know you could buy anything authentic in LoS? Anything i seem to buy breaks down or falls apart or lasts a week, even genuine parts...must ask the mrs to up her game when she does merits!

Major Ratcha Yothin 2nd floor in the outside mall (avenue) area. Not far from Central Lad Prao.

I'd just like to thank you again. I went there yesterday. The shop is called Zippa Deedoo and they have a huge selection of original zippos. I bought a classic silver one and I might go back next month to buy one with a cool design.
