ronthai
Hi, I have changed my home address, same city, so same immigration office Pattaya. I need to do my 90 days report/extention beginning next month. I know I could do this online (first time will try), but I also have moved. Can I do the address change also with the online report or should I go to immigration in this case. What papers would I need? I have a rental contract in Thai. Thanks, Ron
MYKTHEMIN
you are supposed to advise change of address within 24 hrs. Good luck.
ubonjoe
Not sure how immigration will handle an address change online. Having a different address on the application from your previous report could be a problem when they process the report in Jomtien. You could try and if not approved then go to the office. Not sure how Jomtien handles address changes. But a TM28 form might be needed along your rental contract.
Suradit69
I need to do my 90 days report/extention beginning next month. A 90 day report and an extension are two different, unrelated things. Probably best to go in to the office to do the 90 day report and explain you've changed your address with supporting documents. In theory the address change should be reporting immediately, but some others who have wanted to do that have been told to do it in conjunction with the 90 day report. If you try to do a 90 day report online with an address different from the one on record it would probably be rejected.
Too
I went to the Immigration Office to submit a TM28 form, a lease contract and copies of the house book and ID card of the landlord for the change of address 10 days after I moved house last April with no problem. I asked the officer if I could do the next 90-day report on-line but she said I couldn't but must come back to the office for the report. A month later I got back to the office for the report, and the officer said I could do the next one on-line, though the system had not been completed yet, adding that some could but others not. Good luck. Edited July 14, 2015 by Too
